I manage this Web site and the following Web sites: Leslie (Blakeley) Adkins - my oldest daughter

Lori Ann Blakeley (June 20, 1985 - May 4, 2005) - my middle daughter

Evan Blakeley- my youngest child

What happened between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM CST, November 3, 2004? Simply, the electricity went off (here is an interesting visual representation/image of what the Zeus web server recorded - it's showing a 2-hr gap, so it could possibly have been that long).

And what happened between Monday morning, April 18, 2005 and Friday afternoon, April 22, 2005? Well, the electricity went off for about 2 hours on the previous Friday and when it came back on there were problems with the internet line. The router was changed out on Friday evening and the line hobbled along over the weekend. Then on Monday another technician came out to improve the connectivity - and left with the line completely dead to the web server. These are just 2 instances of how the "digital" world can become very unreliable in short order - no electrons, no server, no Web site. Sorry for the inconvenience.

So, how do you resolve this type of problem? Place your Web sites on servers residing in secure data centers like Network Solutions. If your needs include Internet access to your own servers I suggest SBC's Internet Data Center in Dallas, Texas (which is where this server resides). The infrastructure for a complete document management system outlined below is housed in this data center.
