"What hampers creativity?"
My thought, "Monopoly, in any form?"
Why? "Because monopoly crushes freedom of choice - it's diametrically the opposite of what our Founding Fathers intended to protect under the Constitution. It's nothing less than dictatorship."
Why are we being hit so much by viruses, trojan, etc.?
"Because there are some very bright people (and some not so bright) that hate monopolies like, Microsoft. And, to make matters worse, Microsoft has been more interested in pushing products out in the market without any regard for the consequences to Americans, or anyone else in the world purchasing their products?"
Why would Microsoft do that? "I don't know. Possibly, greed and self-interest. I'm not sure. I don't really understand why. Only Bill Gates can answer that, but will his answer be the "truth." Well, it's too late for me to believe him."
How do they get away with this? "Using Microsoft (and there's others) as an example: they only hire and retain people that are just absolutely smarter than us. Then, throw in Bill Gates' directives of greed and self-interest. Then you end up with these smart people being outsmarted, themselves. Some of them "think" they are doing what's best for "us," but they are not smart enough (or haven't been enlightened, yet) to see themselves in the whole "scheme." They think they are in control now, but they aren't. You see, if you are making an omelette and through in just one bad egg, you still end up with a bad omelette!"
What can I do? "Well, personally, I have been learning and using products that are not Microsoft. And, guess what, they work. Your purchasing decisions perpetuate monopolies. And, as long as this fact is not recognized as such, you are the "start" of the problem."
